Motorola Razr

The Motorola Razr is a 4LTR mobile phone produced by Motorola that was first released late 2004. The V3 was the first model of this series of phone. By 2006, 50 million were sold and in the first four years over 130 million had been sold, making it the best-selling clamshell phone in the world.
In July 2007 the Motorola Razr2 was released with a sleeker design with more features, improved audio, and featuring a touchscreen. The Razr2 series featured the V8, V9, and V9m models. In 2011 the Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx was introduced using the Verizon wireless network.
The Razr V3 had many different models. The V3 being the first, it was developed in 2003, but was not released until the third quarter of 2004. A Matte Black version was released in May 2005, but was limited to North America using only specific carriers.
Also released in October 2005 was a Hot Pink version using T-Mobile , Verizon , Cingular , Suncom, and Cellular One wireless carriers. On October 30, 2006 the Miami Ink collection was released to correspond with the reality television program of the same name.
