I bought a Samsung Wave mobile phone. I am not getting MMS in this phone. Pls help me to set up MMS.?

I bought a new Samsung Wave GT-S8500 mobile phone. My service provider is Vodafone. I have saved the Vodafone Live and MMS settings in my phone. When I try to download, "retrieving fails-unknown error" message pops up. Can anybody advise me

Hi, just call your operator and request for the settings to be sent to you. Once you receive your settings, save them and reboot your phone and you're good. Even if they do not have automatic settings for you, they can do it manually if you ask them.
